We are happy to announce the Chevrolet Silverado EV will soon find its way to the streets of Charlotte. The truck's complete list of features and interior/exterior colors will be released near the beginning of production, and the Chevrolet Silverado EV comes exclusively offered in Crew Cab configurations.

What We Know So Far

Capability

The Silverado EV comes with the DC Fast Charging System that produces 350 kW. With this system, the Silverado EV First Edition RST is estimated by GM to get a driving range of 100 miles with only 10 minutes of DC Fast Charging. This truck will also have Ultium. This is a new platform by General Motors that helps the Silverado EV First Edition RST get a GM-estimated 660 horsepower and 780 pound-feet of torque. General Motor estimates the Silverado EV will get a driving range of 400 miles on a full charge.

The towing capacity of the Silverado EV ranges from 8,000 pounds to 20,000 pounds. The truck's towing capacity will vary based on battery size and model selection. Every Chevrolet Silverado EV model will be equipped with the Advanced Trailering System.

Technology

The Silverado EV is stacked with technologies. Super Cruise with trailering will be available with the Silverado EV. This is an industry-first feature that offers hands-free, driver-assist technology. Super Cruise with trailering lets motorists travel hands-free on more than 200,000 miles of roads in the United States and Canada. The truck shows a 17-inch LCD freeform touchscreen and an 11-inch driver instrument display.

There's also a 14-inch Head-Up Display, and the Silverado EV has the Ultifi intelligent software platform. Ultifi is a GM-developed platform that will allow drivers to add new features and get more updates over time so that the truck maintains its next-gen capability.
